Middle School West Auckland has set the following uniform standards. And all students will need to dress accordingly.

Girls

1.Hair can be worn loose but must be tied back for sport, cooking and technology.

2. Only plain studs can be worn as earrings.

3. No other jewellery can be worn if it is able to be seen eg: facial piercings

4. Nail polish needs to be pale or clear coloured only.

5. No makeup to be worn at school while in school uniform.

6. T-shirts under school uniform is allowed but must not be seen.

7. Girls may wear black dress pants (not jeans, activewear or trackpants)

8. Black stockings or tights may be worn under uniform skirt/shorts.

Boys

1. Hair must be tidy.

2. Only plain studs can be worn as earrings.

3. No jewellery can be worn if it is able to be seen eg: facial piercings

4. T-shirts under school uniform is allowed but must not be seen.

5. All boys can wear long black dress pants/trousers (not jeans or trackpants)

Shoes

School shoes need to be all black, this includes the sole as well. Sandals need to be dark colored and have a strap around the back. Socks must be black socks (available at school).

Hats

Hats may be worn outside only. These must be plain black or navy blue (no labels)

Sport

Students must have complete school uniform for sport at all times. Please remember school hat for sports and outside activities. Sports shoes may also be necessary dependent on activity.

Uniform worn properly is a sign of a good school. The aim of the uniform is to have a comfortable style and a good look.

If you child consistently wears incorrect uniform they will be given new uniform that will be charged to your account.
